Thursday Plantation is an Australian brand that offers a range of health and beauty products, derived from nature’s oils. In 2019, Thursday Plantation issued a series of new face mask products; an offline event was hosted in Sydney to strengthen the customer relationship. To further promote the new series, a digital experience was created in collaboration with Prizm so customers could have a better insight into the products.
After understanding the needs of Thursday Plantation, Prizm designed a game available on a mobile’s app store where users answered a few questions about their skin conditions and product preferences. Subsequently, the user will then take a photo of their face, and a mask recommendation will appear on their photo and show the benefits of the product such as the before and after results to the skin.
Through the implementation of the digital experience, Thursday Planation was able to collect user’s data and view all the photos users took; workers at the company then chose a random picture where that user obtained a prize. By having an online and offline campaign, the company substantially improved its brand connection with its customers and reputation, and additionally a rise in brand awareness as users were influenced to share their pictures on their social media accounts.
